Rachel at Book Trout mentioned the 2009 Science Book Challenge to help spread science literacy; as a naturalist, this seems beyond manageable. Plus, I’m WAY behind in my natural history reading and I’ve got a bunch of books on my shelves just waiting. However, I’d really like to include something on astronomy, as it’s been on my mind a lot lately…
I’ll post my ‘book notes’ here as well as on the Science Book Challenge website as I get them done. Cool!!
This Science Book Challenge does sound great. Already read one delightful book about those smart corvids, “Ravens in Winter” by Bernd Heinrich and am now looking forward to reading more natural history soon.
Ravens in Winter is an amazing book!! And I’m really enjoying Hyperspace – very readable and highly recommended.
