The Massachusetts Environmental Education Society (MEES) is holding their annual conference at Holy Cross College in Worcester, MA on March 14, 2012. The theme of this year’s conference is “Refresh: New Tools and Techniques for Today’s Educators.”
I will be presenting during one of the morning sessions on blending experiential education with environmental education, helping educators make their programs more dynamic and interactive. If you’re an environmental educator (or administrator in the e.e. field) in New England and haven’t been to a MEES conference before, I highly recommend it. It’s a great networking opportunity in addition to all the professional development that goes on. And it’s fun! Come join us!
You can find out more about MEES and this year’s conference at the MEES website: http://www.massmees.org, or feel free to get in touch with me – I sit on the MEES Board of Directors and would be happy to answer any questions.
I wish I could be there..In my Nature Notes post today I recalled how I was asked if I was a “naturalist” by a neighbor..My husband replied. “Nope she’s dressed”……
Hilarious! Yeah, every once in a while I need to throw in the fact that I work fully clothed…
