With all the work I’m doing for environmental education through MA and New England (more on that coming soon), I’m always psyched to find new resources. A new site was created recently called Educationalist.net; it’s a catalog of resources and programs in environmental and conservation education.
My motto about all the different sub-groups of environmental, outdoor and conservation education is that we’re stronger together than we are individually. It’s nice to find a resource that helps tie programs and educators together under the larger umbrella of environmental/conservation ed.
On a related note, next week I will be starting a 5-part series of posts on the state of environmental education in New England. There are some really exciting new projects coming up, along with grant opportunities and I’ll share how individuals can get involved in the process, and how organizations can apply for funds.
