I will be presenting tomorrow, October 20th on the past, present and future of wolves in New England, as a guest speaker for the Gertrude Boyden Wildlife Refuge in Taunton, MA. Some of the subjects covered will be understanding the difference between gray wolves, eastern wolves, coyotes and coywolves, and what the future for wild canines might look like here in New England in the next several decades. If you’d like more information about the presentation or directions to the Refuge, send an email to: cynthia@withywindlenature.com.

Why don’t you publish your talk on your web. Boom & Gary of the Vermilon River, Canada.
Good question! Some of it already is, in the form of past posts, and the articles I’ve written on eastern coyotes. I’m actually working on writing a book that will put all this info together, so I’ll probably hold off condensing the info on my site until the the book is published (sometime next year, hopefully).
Hi, great post. I like the identification of wolves which I don’t know so well. Thank you for sharing.
You’re welcome, and thanks for visiting!
